eta

Electronic Travel Authority

To be eligible for an (ETA) you must be a citizen from a country which is visa-exempt.  An ETA is only valid when travelling to Canada by air.  It is valid for up to five years and is linked to your passport.  With a valid ETA you can travel to Canada as often as you want and can normally stay for up to six months at a time.

Applying for an ETA is an online process and it is normally approved quickly, however some requests can take several days if additional documents are requested.
